I thought it would be fun to share a snapshot glance at life behind the scenes with me and AOA headquarters. If you like this, please let me know and I'll try to make it a regular occurrence in 2020.
Watching:
We just finished The Morning Show on AppleTV. I went into this show with zero expectations. At first, I was unsure about it because I did not really like the characters. But I’m really glad I stuck with it. I don’t want to give too much away, but I love how they took a really complicated real-world topic that is often presented in black and white and have dialogued all the perspectives and shades of grey that go along with it.
Last night, we started Truth Be Told (also on AppleTV). It is based off a book called
Are You Sleeping by Kathleen BarberThe cast looks fantastic. So I have high hopes. I’ll keep you posted.
Reading:
The Nightingale. I think everyone has already read this one and I’m last to the party. I’m only a few chapters in, but I’m really enjoying it. I’ve heard it has been made into a movie – so of course I have to read the book before I watch it.

What I’m working on:
Getting all of your
Christmas orders out in time. I have pulled in some extra elves to help me and it is going smoothly.
Excited about:
My favorite thing to do this time of year is to drive around and check out all the beautiful Christmas lights. We load up the girls in their pjs and head out with hot chocolate to oooh and aaah and pick our favorites. It is something so simple, but it just makes me so happy.
Listening to:
Jingle Bells on repeat thanks to my kiddos. I also just finished listening to the audiobook
Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine. Enjoyed that one. Kept me entertained while I shipped out all your orders. It is the first in the series and I will definitely listen to the next ones.
Enjoying:
My girls will get out of school on Friday for Winter break! No more early wakeups, packing lunches, homework and rushing between activities. It will be so nice to just enjoy the season with them without the hustle and bustle.
Dreading:
Cedar Allergy season. Ugh.
Planning:
All the things for AOA. Oh my goodness! Where do I start? So many good things are in the works. I can not wait until I can share.
