FAQ

PRODUCTS

The product I want is out of stock. When will it be available again?

With the exception of the Embroidery Kits, most of my products are one-of-a-kind, never to be made exactly the same way again. I rarely have large quantities of any item.  But with that said, if you have a special request or question about one of my products, please do not hesitate to ask.

If I send you some of my clothing, will you embroider a design on it?

Unfortunately that is not a service that I offer at this time.

Can I use an image of your design as a pattern for my own embroidery work?

Unless it is digital pattern or embroidery kit that you have purchased, please do not copy my work. All of my designs, photos, and content are copyrighted. But more importantly, be original. Hand embroidery, as with all forms of art, is such a personal and soulful creation. Whether I am creating a wedding bouquet or embroidering something freeform, I spend days upon days dreaming up and stitching my designs.  And these designs are all fueled by things in MY life that are unique and personal to ME.  It is very disheartening when I see another person blatantly copying my designs, especially the wedding bouquets.  Each bouquet represent a bride's best day.  And to copy one of those designs is, in my mind, a form of stealing from the bride as well as me, the artist.

Now with that said, I understand the allure of being inspired by another artist's work. Therefore, I have purposely created a series of embroidery patterns that are available for purchase. I include instructions, color guides, and lots of tips so that you can create something that is special and personal to you.  So I leave you with this thought... look for inspiration everywhere, but always create something that is unique to you.

If I send you a photo of another artist's embroidery, can you recreate it for me?

Nope.  I have too much integrity for that kind of nonsense.  Please see the response to the question above.

Can I sell my work using your pattern?

No.  That gets into licensing and contracts and warrants a much bigger discussion.  All of my digital patterns and embroidery kits are only available for personal use and are not to be resold it in any manner.

Can I share your photos on my blog/instagram/pinterest/magazine/etc?

Please ask permission first. If I do allow you permission, I do ask that you credit me in the article/caption/photo and provide proper tagging and a link back where applicable.

And under no circumstances are you allowed to use images of my work and claim them as your own or use my photos to promote your own work. I own the copyright to all photographs and content you see on this website as well as any on my social media platforms.

I have my ways of finding out who is abusing my content, photos, and work and I am savvy enough to know how to deal with it.  So just don't it.  If you do, it will be awkward for the both of us.

But seriously, just ask first.  It makes the conversation so much more fun and friendly and I'm all about collaborating with other creatives.
