What I’m working on:
All the final touches on my Spring Collection that is launching next week. I am so excited to share all the floral details soon. Lots of new things about to hit the shop.
In addition, I am also continuing my work on some wedding bouquet commissions. These bouquets are all so different and I’m here for it!
Reading:
I’m about half way through Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. I am LOVING this book. I’m learning a lot about South Africa and Trevor Noah is so funny that I often find myself laughing out loud. It is a bookclub pick and I think the discussion is going to be so good. Next up in the reading queue is Killman Creek by Rachel Caine, this is the followup book to Stillhouse Lake, which I really enjoyed.
Craving:
Sunshine. It has been so rainy here in Fort Worth. I am ready to put winter officially behind me and move into spring.
Watching:
Madame Secretary while I’m working. My husband and I just finished up the Killing Eve series (loved!) and Pandemic documentary (holy smokes!). But nothing else is really grabbing our attention at the moment. However, we are impatiently waiting on Westworld and Little Fires Everywhere (based off of this fantastic book) that both come out in March. But if you have any suggestions in the meantime, definitely let me know!
What am I doing this weekend:
Soccer and taking it easy. We may do a family game night with the game Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza. This game seems so simple, but it can get very competitive in a hilarious way. What I love the most about it is that you can play with adults and all ages of kids. It’s hysterical. But I warn you, play on a strong, sturdy table. Haha! That will make more sense once you start playing.
Excited about:
Spring Break next month. It will be so nice to sleep in! And planting my spring garden. Bring on all the tomatoes, peppers and basil!
Dreading:
Doctor appointments. This healing stuff is hard work.
Listening to:
Force of Nature by Jane Harper.
What I’m looking forward to:
Spring. I’m ready for shorts and flip-flops, fresh flowers, grilling out on the weekends with friends and all the sunshine.
