My first job

I think I was always meant to work with flowers. My first job in high school was at a local florist. Imagine the movie Mystic Pizza... just swap pizza with flowers. A group of young, loud girls with their lives still ahead of them mixed with a handful of older, wiser ladies (the designers) that were always there to listen, encourage and gently scold when needed. Those ladies taught us so much in the way of flowers, design, business, and life living. The friendships formed in that shop still exist today. That time in the flower shop still remains one of my favorite chapters of life.
