I started creating the
Evermore design in the early months of 2021. To set the scene, I was feeling overly tired and anxious trying to navigate the challenges of the pandemic, virtual school, and the crazy Texas ice storm, all while also trying to run a business. My loved ones were struggling in little and big ways and there were just not enough hours in the day. I went to bed each night feeling exhausted, yet determined to try again the next morning.
I chose to do what I always do when I'm feeling the overwhelm - i turned to embroidery. Without any plan in mind, I created this design based on a dream that I had. I wanted pretty colors and repetitive stitches and something that would allow my mind to wander while my hands kept busy. My goal was never to sell this design as it was created only for me in a time when I needed it so badly. But it turned out way better than I ever could have imagined; so I have decided to offer it in my shop with the hope that it brings you as much joy and calmness as it brought me.
