Seed stitch is really just a fancy term for a scattering of straight stitches. Surprisingly simple, yet so effective for filling in spaces. This stitch is also known as rice stitch or seeding stitch.
1. Create your first straight stitch.
2. Create another straight stitch going in a different direction.
3. Continue in this fashion, creating stitches of similar size and spaced consistently apart. You want the stitches to go in random directions just like a scattering of rice would do.
