Looking to up level your next hand embroidery project? Here are 3 easy tips to increase your volume and texture.
1. Increase your floss strands. More floss strands = better texture because there is more to work with. I will often use 6-12 strands of floss in my work.
2. Stop pulling your stitches so tight. Keeping your stitches loose is key to getting that volume.
3. Layer, layer, layer. When in doubt, add more layers of stitches. This is often what makes a good looking embroidery go to GREAT!
