I always say that each bouquet represents a story. And this bouquet is no different. When the bride reached out to me and told me her story, I knew immediately that I wanted to work on her bouquet without me even seeing a photo of it. There was just something in her words that just took hold of me.
We continued to exchange emails back and forth sharing photos and brainstorming out different ideas. I got to learn more about her and her wedding story. And in one of those emails she also told me that her mom had passed a few years back but her husband and her worked hard to include her memory through the wedding ceremony. One way was on her bouquet where she had 2 charms displaying photos of her mom and her together. Once she told me that and I saw the photos, I was intent on figuring out how to incorporate those photos into her finished bouquet embroidery. I must have tried 3-4 different ideas before landing on the final solution.
I think this embroidered bouquet turned out amazing and I felt so proud that I was able to create this sentimental keepsake just for her. As a creative artist, the biggest hope I have for my work is to make something that stirs the soul. I think I was successful with this bouquet and for that I am forever grateful.
