Happy Friday, friends! We made it to the weekend.
Things are about to get crazy over the next few weeks, so we are looking forward to spending a relaxing weekend hanging out at home, cooking up some new recipes and watching football. Plus it is supposedly to be rainy all weekend - perfect weather for being lazy and catching up on stitching projects.
I wanted to share a few things I'm loving these days:
:: Decorating the house for fall with these pumpkins.
:: This Happy Birthday banner from Vintage Green Limited's Etsy shop will be going up in our house later this week as we celebrate 3 back-to-back birthdays. I bought mine a few years ago and it is still going strong. Plus my girls get so excited when it comes out each year.
:: It is no secret how much I LOVE Sweet Laurel's cookbook (hello lemon bars!) and this week I am hoping to make a non-edible concoction (though I guess you could eat it) from her blog - DIY Lavender Coconut Scrub. Double excited about this because I also get to use my new Lavender essential oil that I just got from Young Living. I'll let you know how it turns out.
:: My favorite go-to dresses for my girls are back in stock for the fall. If you have little girls, the dresses are awesome because they hold up well and can dress them up or down depending on what is going on that day. We stock up in all the different colors. Plus, they are on sale this weekend.
:: This book! If you are a reader, I highly recommend. A women network of spies during the WWI... that alone kept my attention start to finish. There was not one person in our book club who did not enjoy this one. And we rarely get to say that.
Happy weekend, y'all! I hope it's a good one.
