What the heck did we do before we had Amazon? As much as I try to stay organized and on top of ALL the things, I inevitably forget something that I need immediately. Amazon Prime saves the day! Here are a few of the embroidery things that I have recently purchased from Amazon for my business:
I order embroidery hoops at least once a month. Obviously, I use them a lot more than the average person. But I usually order hoops online because my local stores always seem to be out of the quantity and sizes that I need. So Amazon Prime to the rescue!
Can't do much hand embroidery without a needle. So this one is pretty straight forward.
This is my favorite book to gift to my friends that are new embroidery. I just bought it for one of my good friends who decided to put down her knitting needles in order to have a go at hand embroidery. I have owned this book for years and go back to it many times a year when I want a refresher on how to do a certain stitch. It is my go-to-resource for sure.
You can read
HERE to learn why I love these to store my embroidery floss. These clothespins show up in my Amazon cart a few times a year.
This is what I use to tie on to my embroidery hoops so that my customers can hang them. I love the natural look of this twine.
I use these pens to draw out all of my patterns. I ordered my first set 2 years ago and I just reordered them this past week because the ink was drying up on my beloved green. I don't know why green is my favorite (because I use all the colors), but it just is.
Just after the holidays, I upgraded my light box that I use to trace patterns. Lots of reasons why I needed to upgrade and why I chose this one. And I'll go into more details about all of that in a future post. But in the meantime, I will say that I am really liking this new one a lot more than my previous one.
Hey, no judgement if this shows up in my cart too! Can we all just agree that chocolate makes everything better?
Okay, so now can you do me a favor? Leave me a comment and tell me what you are loving from Amazon. Embroidery related or not, I am always on the hunt for make-life-easier-things that I can order from Amazon.

Hi Colleen! I support your shop 100% but I have to say that I will always look for my materials amongst the small shops of Etsy rather than go to Amazon which truly doesn’t need my business. Cheers! Sunny
