Straight Stitch Tutorial

Straight stitch is a really simple hand embroidery technique created with one long straight stitch individually or grouped together to create a pattern.

1. Bring the needle up through the fabric.  This is your starting point.

2. Bring the needle back down at the end point of your stitch.

HINTS:

• I used 6 strands of floss to create the design shown in the photo.  But you can adjust your floss count to create lots of different kind of looks.
